Yellow leichen 		Antarctica is sometimes described as the driest and coldest continent. Despite this an amazing variety of plants and animals can be seen in this inhospitable environment. The voyage crossing the Southern Ocean gives one plenty of time to study the various sea birds and an odd seal or whale.
